argh i gave the wrong date for the Showtime on channel 8. its actually on 1 Aug 2006 (coming tuesday). watch and support the njc (S1) team if you can! yay more details are below.

i'm feeling drowsy in front of the computer, but i shall try to stay awake as i havent been / couldnt come online for like 5 days?? something's wrong with the broadband link and since my papa was away in china, i was left stranded, fiddling with the modem thing didnt help. and he's back today ! felt rather mean to bug him about the internet but i gotta do my chem mcq online!didnt work out too ...haha i'm using my sis laptop and tapping on neighbour's broadband. opppps. realized the importance of the Internet, ah cant do without it. ok anw despite the drowsiness, manage to complete the chem periodicity mcq test. one hmwk down and many many more to go! the weekends are becoming boring =((((.

we had ine seniors' farewell today. hmm...its always times like this when you do realize you really like the cca and its people alot. there were indeed times we complain and struggle through to get things done, wishing to get over with this whole cca as fast as possible, yet there were some happy moments spent laughing and simply crapping with the rest of the ine exco. remember? although we had an exhausting time cutting paper and stuff at adrian's office but i actually do feel that was one of most fun part for preparation for Enterprise day , haha getting a little high and intoxicated within the four walls of the small pathetic room., talking and thinking incoherently like for me " why are we having games? why are we even having enterprise day in the first place???" lol and that has become the infamous quote from me. i must say i am not the most patient person in the world, having a high tendency to get frustrated easily.now suddenly , once cca is over and partly under the influence of mr koh's words, i miss ine! tsk tsk how contradictory. today's yvonne was a little or should i say very weird. maybe its the stress or maybe shes just excited about the food catered for us. hahaha. she went super high, lame and everything, casuing all of us to give her ' whats wrong with you' look, heh but we were high too just not as extreme . =p

i've been really slow in updating these days, it will get worse for the months to come. ok been pigging out much, especially since NAPFA is over ( and we do not really run during PE now) my body mass has gone up! more kilos due to fat and sadly it is not considered growth. i count myself relatively, how do i say it, dormant? um sounds weird. so my only form of exercise and hopefully useful one is climbling the flights of stairs in nj, yup and walking from the bus stop back home. or the weekly session of picking up tennis balls during PE. ok lah, we are suppose to play tennis but me and roslyn always end up picking tennis balls amidst the flying ones all over the court. to exaggerate its like on the battlefield, trying to avoid flying grenades. yup, but we actually improved the last session, we had times when the ball when back and forth before it head the wrong direction or hit the fence.

ok, wed was community service day! the kids were younger than the ones in kids fiesta, haha so they were much much cuter.opps. the class girls taught them the actions for "More we get together" which they were to perform at the amphitheatre and its so heartwarming when we did it all together as a class with the kids holding hands and everything. yet in the end the kids forgot the actions when it was their turn to perform. hehe reminds me of the kids fiesta concert where me and the other group 6 leaders had to mimic actions for the kids to follow on stage. theres this boy called taufik and i kept teasing him he must sing loudly cos he's taufik. and another girl wen wen who told me she like our school cos ' we can sing songs'. lol and i told her we dont do that everyday. also theres the monkey-like nicholas and super shy natasha. sigh...adorable. after saying like numerous 'byes' while waiting at the parade square we finally saw them to their buses . afterwhich we had class lunch and i skipped POC. sigh...

anw fastforward to fri. SHOWTIME(全民創意爭霸賽) recording at Mediacorp to support the ine juniors. its my first time experience as a studio audience. was rather tiring at first as we had to wait in at the carpark and walk through the stifling flight of stairs before coming to the tv theatre. thereafter we thought we were late, but no we werent, we had to wait like 45 mins before the whole show started. the audience public relation officer were hyping us up, to come up with cheers and to practice the cheer ( which we didnt get to use during the actual recording). the audience crowd was rather small too but at least sufficient njcians. so finally the show started but with many intervals and pauses in between . the njc team was the first group to go onto stage and yeah they were good! felt really worried for them at first cos of the last min rehearsals but in the they pulled it off. as usual i think the ine people will always manage and perform with last min stuff just like we did for the footnotes and enterprise day. haha we are pushed by deadlines. ok so we did well but had less points than another team which got like a full and 1st ever 10 mark from Bryan wong. back to the boring days. i have nothing to update! actually i typed an entry last sat, but left it hanging cos i had to go off for dinner and i never came back to it. haha so its still in the 'saved drafts' and will probably be there forever.

after the week long break from CT2, everyone has switched to the "serious" mode . our class is like a lot more quiet than before although we are always quiet. ah scary scary. and people around me are so motivated which kind of stresses me out but it gets me trying to be motivated too, which is a good thing. but i wonder how long can i maintain it , i dont wanna tire myself out before the real Alevels come by.
