I have finally found work! Its admin and starts next week officially..yah i know i am kind of late, but just glad to find one after 1 month plus of looking at classified ads, jobs db and jobcentral, sending many many applications online and going down personally to tuition centres, job agencies and other work places. I have visited the job agencies 4 times! And the job i have gotten is recommended from the last agency i went to. On the other hand, I keep getting job recommendations from the other famous agency but none which actually shortlisted me to go down for an interview.

So, I won't say where's my work place exactly but it is quite well-known especially for a major period which happened a few years ago. Its administrative work and the pay is below the market rate (so as to avoid internal conflict with the other temp adult workers as my agent says) and some will find it low...but i've got no other options. Yup, nevermind, shall take it as an opportunity to learn and yes to gain more work experience which I will need! Seems to be the trend that everyone finds the first day of work fun and interesting, afterwhich the enthusiasm dies off as the days passes by. Hopefully mine would be fine, argh would be ..I quote yx "having butterflies in my stomach" on sunday.

And I am offering help to my cousin on Saturdays. In other words, tuition la...why "help"? Cos its free.. yes, my generous father has kindly offered that to my auntie.actually i won't mind since he is my cousin, but its the travelling distance!! i need to travel 14 stops to simei and probably walk some extremely long distance to reach his house, so someone has to at least cover my travelling expenses especially since now we are charged adult fares. no longer 55 cents or 45 cents! haha i sound so cheapo, but its true, travelling fares are exorbitant and i dont like it at all! Oh its chinese tuition so am I to conduct the whole lesson speaking chinese? I am not used to speaking mandarin to my cousins, would be weird eh..Then should i use english to explain the chinese stuff? That will be quite bad for learning the chinese langauge itself. I remembered gawking when i heard that some teachers will be using english to teach chinese...Ok dilemmas again. =p

I'm going to do volunteer work at tiong bahru with yvonne tomorrow..haha i no longer have to check the classifieds daily till after 31st March. And hopefully i'll get to go on the Japan trip with yx and the rest during April..yeah so exciting ! Oh and its high time to research on uni courses, sciences ? How how...i wouldn't mind hospitality and hotel management, but its only available at overseas college and not local universities? unless i choose to enrol in tourism academy at sentosa, see http://www.tourismacademy.edu.sg/. Think it will be quite a good opening for career options especially with the rise of integrated resorts in years to come.

this is my longest entry since a long time ago. kk, off i go
