Yesterday's matriculation marks the start of another phase of my life as a student. Again, the cycle of the awkward period begins: being blur at all the admin and what not modules bidding, making choices, feeling small and 'nobody' cos you are just a Year 1 freshmen, finding your way around school, trying to make friends, etc etc. Fortunately, had friends for accompaniment to go through this awkward phase together and hopefully it will be fine

Anyways, FASS is really different from what i had thought. i didnt know we had to take that many modules outside our major .omg. I went in with the mindset that i will just do general subjs in the first yr and from the second yr onwards i will just have to concentrate on my major and if i want, on my minor as well. Actually, that will be rather true if one tries to complete all the random modules by the end of semester 2,but i find it kind of impossible? The whole requirements thing is kind of frustrating and you really need to plan in advance to make sure you get the degree at the end of yr 3 or yr 4. The CORS system is so complicated too! After selecting modules that you require/like/have interest in/don't like but helps ur grades, you need to ensure that it comes under the requirements, ensure lectures and tutorials dont clash, then bid. Bidding itself is like watching the stock market which i have no experience or whatsoever. On top of that, i may not get what i have bidded and you need to rethink about your modules and adjust them to fit your timetable again. wahh.. stressful ar even before semester begins and i need to repeat this process for another 6-8 times. i want a timetable like before!

ok this is so unavoidable; thus i shall have to grow to like CORs. And my favourite bus is 151. yay.
